Seeing action are Cyclomax Titan, Cyclomax 4T, Zoelo Extreme, Zoelo Diesel Oil, Accelerate Vega, Accelerate Supreme, Cycle Fork and the 2T Max teams whose players were chosen from among 1,000 aspirants in the two weekend try-outs.
“This coming season will be interesting since the tryout and drafting system has been enhanced to manage the balancing of the rosters,” said Phoenix Petroleum marketing supervisor Neb Bulaclac recently.
The teams will play the single round-robin format elimination where the top four teams with the best records will be carried on to the semi-finals. The number one seeded team will face off against the fourth seed while the second and the third seed will clash en-route to the finals.
Cash prizes, medals, and trophies and gift packs from Phoenix Fuels await the winners of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)-sanctioned cagefest. (RPSA)
