Davraa Meet reset on April 11-15

THE Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet, earlier scheduled on February 8 to 12, was reset to April 11 to 15 instead at the New Bataan Sports Complex in Compostela Valley.
Department of Education (Deped) Physical Education and School Sports (Pess) supervisor Jimmy Cerojales bared this to Sun.Star Davao over the weekend.

He said the Comval government decided for the postponement of the games due to budget considerations. The province was hit by a tragic landslide that killed over 30 persons recently.
Davao City athletes' quartering was also re-scheduled to March 24 to April 7 at the Davao City National High School (DCNHS). It was originally set last week until February 4.
The city delegation is composed of 468 athletes, coaches and officials. They will compete in 18 events including archery, arnis, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn tennis, sepak takraw, sipa, softball, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, and volleyball.
The 2011 Batang Pinoy Games Mindanao Leg six-time swimming gold medalist Ryan Keith Regidor is among the city's top bets.
Dapitan City 2011 Palarong Pambansa gold medal performers Ma. Louella Alcarazen and Sheila Mae Loreto of the Assumption College of Davao along with Elica Hilda Dayanghirang of Ateneo de Davao University will lead the Davao City cagebelles will lead the city's title-defense in secondary girls basketball.
