Run vs polio set Feb. 11

THE Rotary Club of Central Davao (RCCD) will hold the “Run to Eradicate Polio” that will hit the road at 5 a.m. of February 11 in an out-and-back course from Emcor Bajada branch.
It will benefit Polio Plus Project which aims to eradicate the polio disease in Afghanistan, India, Nigeria, and Pakistan.

RCCD president Rodelio Carmelo Dalisay, who guested at the weekly Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at Tower Inn Thursday, urged Dabawenyos to support the event that features three-kilometer (3K), 5K and 10K categories.
Registration fees are pegged at P300 (3K and 5K) and P350 (10K) inclusive of singlet, race bib and free snacks.
Medals await the top three finishers in every category while certificates will be given away to all finishers.
Registration is going on at Emcor Bajada, Holiday Gym and Spa, Bigby’s Abreeza Mall, Bigby’s SM City Davao, RunClub and Patok sa Manok at Barrio Obrero. (RPSA)
