Gamolo bags Datba title

LAWYER Arturo "Art" Gamolo captured the title of the just-concluded 2011 Datba Bowler of the Year Battle of the Champions at the NCCC Mall B3 Center.
Gamolo defeated fellow Digos City native lawyer Marc Fernandez, 173-164, in their championship showdown.

The 64-year-old Gamolo gained the twice-to-beat advantage in the step-the-ladder format finals after topping the eight-game eliminations where he struck a total of 1,693 pinfalls.
The event was organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba). (MLSA)
