BLBE guns for 3rd straight win

THE BLBE Auto Repair Shop aims to stretch its winning streak as it plays against Goldstar at 7 p.m. in the resumption of the Duterte Basketball League (DBL)-Phoenix Petroleum 36-Up Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center.
BLBE, owned by Buboy Almario, will lean on the services of second game hero Bambi Santader along with veterans Roderick Conda, Nelson Montalban, Dodong Cagampang and Nick Serafica.

Goldstar Hardware, mentored by Jigger Saniel, will be led by Jonathan Soco and Cesar Liston.
BLBE, which toted two wins and zero loss, shared the lead of the team standings with Top Agro and Philippine National Police (PNP) selection.
Goldstar registered a 1-1 card following a win over General Services Office (85-66) and a heart-breaking loss to PNP (72-73).
The 5:30 p.m. curtain raiser pits cellar dwellers Playsite (0-2) and GSIS Cool Options (0-3).
Games on Sunday will have BLBE collide with PNP at 2 p.m., GSIS against GSO at 3:30 p.m. and Top Agro vs Goldstar at 5 p.m.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)-sanctioned cagefest, sponsored by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., is organized by the Vice Mayor's Office (VMO) through the initiative of Christopher "Bong" Go.
