Cycle foils Zoelo

CYCLE Fork Oil handed Zoelo Extreme its first loss in the 3rd Trip Ko Phoenix Fuels U-16 Basketball Cup at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center Sunday.
Cycle Fork Oil edged the Zoelo Extreme, 60-54, to halt the latter's win streak at two.

Ronald Jabican led Cycle Fork with 14 points while Paul Doria of Zoelo Extreme contributed 15 points while Jvanne Tarranze chipped in 14 points in a losing cause.
Accelerate Supreme also won, scoring a 79-57 victory over the 4T Force.
Jasper Mesiona led the way for Accelerate Supreme with 14 points.
Zoelo Diesel Oil, meanwhile, edged the Cyclomax Titan, 80-75, to capture its second win.
David Sotto led the charge for the Zoelo Diesel Oil with 14 points, while Ronyl Ferrer scored 10 points. Eric Patrick Dulay, scored 21 points for the losing team.
2T Max notched its second win after beating Accelerate Vega, 60-50.
Sean Africa led the 2T Max attack with 21 points including three three-pointers in the fourth quarter.
Former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player now Valenzuela City Councilor and Emilio Aguinaldo College head coach Gerry Esplana grazed the Phoenix event to scout for potential players for Emilio Aguinaldo College.
"I have seen a great potential in Eric Dulay of Cyclomax Titan and Sean Africa of 2T Max," Esplana said. "Phoenix Fuels has done a great job in trying to raise local basketball talents in the grassroots level. The Phoenix Fuels Basketball Cup is certainly a good stepping stone for young aspiring basketball players." (RSA)
