DAVAO City's Pacific X-Treme Combat (PXC) flyweight champion Ale “The Young Gun” Cali will launch his endorsement of a Singapore-based athletic apparel next month following his recent title victory at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.

Beefit Python’s Pit manager Otek Durante and Coach Bambi Posadas bared this during the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at Tower Inn Tuesday.

Durante said, “Cali will endorse Engage Hybrid Athletic Gear from Singapore. They chose Cali after he won the fight last Saturday.”

He, however, said they are negotiating not just for Cali as endorser but the entire Beefit Python's Pit team having produced four champions to date. He was pertaining to former URCC lightweight champion Lito Manguray, Mindanao champion Isaac Tuling and Ricardo Sapno III who recently defended his featherweight title in the Universal Reality Combat Championships in Baguio City.

The 21-year-old Cali said his teammates, especially Manguray, have contributed to his success.

“Coach Manguray helped me during the ground battle with Guam's Jesse Taitano. I am thankful for all his help when Taitano took me down and made submission attempts,” Cali said in the vernacular.

Cali has the chance to fight in Guam after he gets to defend his belt in the country. “PXC organizers said that we will have a 50-50 choice on who will fight Cali next. PXC organizers and the Cali camp will decide who will be the next challenger for the June 2 title-defense in Manila.”

Cali improved his record to 4-1 including three knockouts.
