Soriano, Paloso top SBC

BOY Soriano and Rey Paloso ruled their respective divisions in the SBC Individual Single Bowling Tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday evening.
Soriano struck for a total of 244 pinfalls after two games in a joint A-B category. He bested Gerry Farin and Jong-Jong Sales who occupied the next two spots. Farin hit 233 while Sales scored 232.
Paloso, for his part, garnered 260 to rule category C-ladies event at the expense of Mathess Domino (234) and Peter John Damon (231).
Winners received cash prizes in the bowlfest organized by Sunday Bowlers Club.
SBC tournament director Mads Lauro, in text messages to Sun.Star Davao, said SBC will hold a series of meetings in preparation for their upcoming 27th Kadayawan open tournament.
The SBC Weekly Dalawahan Tournament, meanwhile, will resume on Sunday. (RPSA)
