Ateneo B score twin kill

THE Ateneo de Davao University (AdDu)-B scored a twin kill in the recent resumption of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Duterte Basketball League (DBL) Inter-High School Division 2 basketball tournament at the Bankerohan covered court.

Ateneo B routed Mindanao Christian Foundation College (MCFC), 53-38, before nipping St. Therese College of Science and Technology (STCST), 40-38.

STCST overwhelmed Assumption College of Davao (ACD)-B, 62-31, as Joepri Puna and Julius Labajo combined for 21 points.

In other games, Thompson Christian School (TCS) beat the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS), 35-31; Davao Jones Academy thrashed the Stella Maris Academy of Davao, 57-32; Brokenshire High School (BSHS) defeated Holy Cross of Davao College, 49-47; Philippine Women's College (PWC) crushed Davao City National High School (DCNHS), 59-38; and University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) cruised past MCFC, 55-39.

The cagefest will resume Saturday at the same venue pitting SMAD against PWC at 8 a.m., BSHS against PNJKIS at 9 a.m., ACD-B against Addu-B at 10 a.m., TCS against HCDC at 11 a.m., MCFC against STCST at 12 p.m., DJA against DCNHS at 1 p.m., ACD-B against UIC at 2 p.m. and PNJKIS against the Precious International School of Davao (PISD) at 3 p.m. (RPSA)
