This week, in the PGA Tour, is the Reno-Tahoe Open. But, the bigger tournament to watch for is the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, which is also this week, from August 2 – 5, 2012. It is invitational, which means, one has to be invited, and so, not all players can join. Last year’s winner is Adam Scott. But, FYI, Tiger Woods has won this event 7 times since 1999. So, who do you think will win this year? Best bets are Tiger Woods and Adam Scott.
My wish for the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational: That Adam Scott will lead on the first 3 days. And in second place will be Tiger. And so they will be paired in the final round. And I want Tiger Woods to win, and I want to see a come-from-behind victory. And I want it to be very thrilling. I want to see a lot of pumping fist action from Tiger, and I want to hear a lot of roars from the crowd every time he makes a great putt.
But I like Adam Scott to win too. He is a great player and he is very handsome. And his loss during The Open Championship is still fresh in his mind. He will definitely try to make up for his loss. But then, Tiger is hungry for another win too. And people expect him to do very well in this tournament since he has won this 7 times in the past. Or, maybe a different guy will win it. How corny. I wish the winner would either be Tiger or Adam only. How exciting! I can’t wait to watch it.

Over at the oldies, the Champions Tour, if you watched the Senior Open Championship last week, you already know who won it—Fred Couples, my forever crush. He birdied the last two holes in the final round. On the 18th green, his birdie putt was 25 feet long. He only needed a par to win it, but he made his putt and won by two strokes.

And news about the beautiful golfing ladies of Davao, hehe, they are leaving for Cagayan de Oro next week. The Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines (WGAP) Luzvimin tournament is going to be held at Pueblo de Oro Golf Club this year. It will be on August 8-10, 2012.
