Arigo wins in Datba

RICHARD Arigo hit a total of 896 pinfalls in four games to annex the gold medal in the Davao Tenpin Bowling Association (Datba) Weekly Medal Tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Lanes over the weekend.
Rameses Tancontian (868) and James Young (866) grabbed the silver and bronze, respectively.
Datba president Edwin Grasparil, in an e-mailed statement to Sun.Star Davao, said the Datba Kadaywan Open is set to fire off on August 9 to 12.
The bowlfest will feature the four-man team competition as well as the doubles, singles and masters categories.
The upcoming national bowlfest is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress. (RPSA)
