PNJKIS, CDSI bag volley titles

THE Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS) and Saint Francis Xavier Learning Center (SFXLC) bagged volleyball titles at the close of the Davao Association of Private Schools and Administrators (Daprisa) Games 2012 at the Southpoint School (SPS) in Maa Friday.
Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS) beat Colegio de San Ignacio (CDSI), 25-13, 25-21, in their High School girls titular showdown while SFXLC turned back Thompson Christian School (TCS), 25-17, 25-23, in the boys' side.
The Mandug Christian Development and Training Center (MCDTC) captured the elementary boys volleyball crown at the expense of CDSI while St. Patrick Math Science School (SPMSS) defeated United Methodist School of Davao (UMSD) for the girls crown.
Ford Academy of the Arts (FAA), meanwhile, routed Precious International School of Davao (PISD) 103-77 to seize the high school basketball title while DHTA cruised past PISD, 51-39, to rule the elementary division.
In football, SPS swept the U8, U10, U12 and high school titles while Doña Pilar Pilar Learning Center (DPLC) emerged champion in the U6 category.
In lawn tennis, Melanie Tubbs of TCS romped away with the high school girls singles title while Noel Troy Estrada of Davao Jones Academy (DJA) crowned himself champion in the boys' event. The International College of St. Ignatius de Loyola (ICSIDL) tandem of Jireh Abrigana and Khissey Cadilo clinched the high school girls doubles gold while the DJA pair of March Tan and Jaffary Cariga emerged champions took the boys doubles gold.
Netter Kyla Zardilla of DPLC pocketed the elementary girls singles title while Stephen Tubbs of TCS copped the boys singles gold. The Shepherd My Lambs Christian College (SMYLCC) sister-tandem of Jorjett and Jorj Villacorte lorded over their rivals in girls doubles even as DJA's Abdul Cariga and Kearl Prime Siong topped the boys doubles category.
Davao Central College (DCC), meanwhile, captured the High School table tennis over-all championship as CDSI annexed the elementary over-all title.
In badminton, Nessie Ogayco and Tracy Silangan of DCC copped the High School girls doubles gold while Ruly Bantugan and Chris Tom of PNJKIS went home with the boys doubles plum. Immanuel School of Davao (ISD) bets Mara Ng and Christian Pilapil ruled the boys and girls singles, respectively. The other champions were PISD's Sheinna Ganados and Rose Velarde (elementary girls doubles), CDSI's Nicole Aquino (elementary girls singles) and Jude Bagay (boys singles).
