Diagold leads Octoberfest

THE Diagold Pawnshop hit a total of 3,551 pinfalls after six games to keep the lead of the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) 8th Annual Octoberfest Bowling Tournament that resumed Tuesday at the Fairlanes Bowling Center.
Diagold Pawnshop was bannered by father-and-son duo of Nonoy and Jayvee Baluyot along with Rudy Castillo, Eddie Sagario, Bobby Fordalisa and Berting Gorgonio.
Megbon Bowlers rolled 3,458 to grab the second spot while Davao City Bowlers Association (Daciba) Homer garnered 3,425 for third.
Ampersand Bowlers retained the fourth spot (3,407) while D' Adventurers 2 (3,404) placed fifth.
Games resume today with the last round of eliminations and step-the-ladder finals. The top four teams will receive cash prizes of P12,000, P8,000, P6,000 and P4,000.
Prizes also await special individual winners. (RPSA)
