Team Titans Davao runners Dominado, Tumapon shine-A A +A

TEAM Titans Davao (TTD) runners Gasper Dominado and Virginia Tumapon stamped their respective rivals in the just-concluded Pink Run, dubbed D'Feeting Breast Cancer, at the Victoria Plaza car park.
Dominado checked in at 34 minutes and 49 seconds to clinch the men's 10-kiloneters (10k) title. He outran Marlon Laureano (39:39) and Merlin Legaspi (43:06) who placed second and third, respectively.
Tumapon topped the distaff side by registering 46:24 while Olive Firmeza (48:54) finished second and Cathryn Arias (51:02) third.
TTD bet Lloyd Malinao shared the limelight by clinching the men's 5K with a time of 18:59 while Reynante Cania (20:37) and Bruce Vanzante (22:42) wounded up in the next two spots.
Reymalin Gutierrez, for her part, clocked 28:11 to race past Rachelle Magdael (28:55) and Jo Picato (30:28) while Kevin Naraga of TTD and Emily Ong seized the 3K titles.
Naraga (11:43) sped past Jaime Abesamis (11:45) and Jun-Jun Prosia (13:17) for the male title while Ong (14:41) bested Mary Jane Marcus (17:57) and Rosette Ong (20:12) in the female category.
The footrace was jointly organized by the Davao Cancer Society (DCS), Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) and Philippine Society of General Surgeons Davao-Southern Mindanao Chapter in celebration of the Breast Cancer Awareness Day and World Menopause Day.
Proceeds of the event will be used for the ongoing programs for breast cancer awareness.
