PINOY golfer sending a text to his wife: “Hi babe, I'm still at the golf course with some friends, please wash all my dirty clothes and make sure you prepare my favorite dish before I return.”

Thirty minutes later, the Pinoy golfer sent another text to his wife: “Babe, I forgot to tell you, I made a hole in one and the prize is a brand new car which I will be giving to you.”

Wife texts back immediately: “OMG! Really!?”

Pinoy golfer: “NO. I just wanted to make sure you got my first message.”

This joke is funny but true. It is like, if a friend of yours owes you money, for example, and you want your friend to pay you already. Your initial text should be something pleasant and exciting. Say, “Hey, I have a surprise for you.” or “Hey, I have a gift for you.” Your friend will get curious and reply quickly. And when he replies, that is the time you remind him of the debt he owes you. But if you start with a text like, “Hey, when are you going to pay me?” There is a chance you will not get a reply right away. Deadma. Hahaha! So, learn from this joke.

For those who do not know and are embarrassed to ask, ICTSI stands for International Container Terminal Services, Inc., which is the Philippines’ port-handling giant. The Chairman and CEO of ICTSI is billionaire Enrique ‘Ricky’ Razon Jr. who happens to be an avid golfer and supporter of the Philippine Golf Tour, among other things. He is only 52 years old. He inherited the company from his father in 1987. Wikipedia says Ricky Razon has a net worth of $3.6 billion and is currently the 3rd richest Filipino.

Once again, Happy New Year to all of you! Happy Golfing!
