Paragua paces PSC Cup

FILIPINO grand master Mark Paragua shared the lead with fellow six-pointer Fide Master Haridas Pascua after seven rounds of the ongoing 2013 Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Cup International Chess Championship at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
Mongolian IM Bayarsaikhan Gundavaa and Filipino GM Richard Bitoon garnered 5.5 each for the third to fourth place in the chessfest hosted by PSC and organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines.
Davao City native international master Oliver Dimakiling earned 3.5 points to share the 31st to 43rd place while Kidapawan City-born Edgar Reggie Olay made 2.5 points to share the 52nd to 58th place. (MLSA)
