Medvil FC stays unbeaten after 3 games

THE Medvil Football Club (FC) grabbed back-to-back wins to keep its unbeaten slate in the resumption of the Medvil Cup football tournament held at Deca Homes Resort Residences football field recently.
Medvil FC blanked Holy Child, 6-0, on Monday on the heels of thrashing Calinan Blue Eagles, 5-0, on Sunday. Shem Palang-at, Lyndon Rey Camelotes, John Philip delos Santos, JR Sayson and Vince Banta led scoring for Medvil that earned a total of nine points with a 3-0-0, win-draw-loss card.
Medvil, thus, grabbed the top spot of the bootfest organized by Davao Football Association in cooperation with Barangay Mintal, Cong. Isidro T. Ungab, University of the Philippines Mindanao and Medvil Farms.
Erstwhile leader Mintal Inter Rage, however, dropped to a 3-0-1 mark following a 2-3 loss to Oi Rogers and a 5-4 win over Calinan FC.
The Calinan Blue Eagles and Real Davao, each toting a 2-1-1 card, shared the third and fourth spots. Calinan Blue Eagles held Real Davao to a 2-2 standoff after bowing to Medvil. Real Davao earlier nipped Calinan FC, 2-1.
Trailing behind were 2-0-2 Impeesa, 1-1-1 Oi Rogers, 1-0-2 Philippine Women's College, 0-1-2 Holy Child FC and 0-0-3 Calinan FC.
Games will resume on Saturday, pitting Calinan FC against Oi Rogers at 8 a.m., Medvil vs PWC Patriots at 10 a.m., Calinan Blue Eagles vs Mintal Inter Rage at 12 noon and Real Davao against Holy Child at 2 p.m. MLSA
