VISITING riders will give Davao City bets a run for their money when the Mayor Inday Sara and Vice Mayor Rody Duterte 76th Araw ng Dabaw Cycling Challenge unreels tomorrow, Sunday, at Shrine Hills, Matina.
Corsan Lucas, who was a guest at the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at Dexter's Pizza Stadium in Matina on Thursday morning, said cyclists from neighboring cities and provinces are expected to join the race organized and sanctioned by PhilCycling and sponsored by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office.
"Davao City riders still have the edge though being the ones more familiar with the course," he said.

Lucas added executive participants must be between 30 to 40 years old and must present a valid PRC license or updated business permit to be eligible to compete in the said division.
The free-registration race offers cash prizes to the winners. The open elite champion will pocket P2,500 while the next two finishers will receive P1,500 and P1,000. The top three executive, golden boys, midget, cadet and ladies open riders will claim P2,000, P1,500 and P1,000. They will also receive medals.
