76th for Tiger Woods

TONY "Tonygars" Garcia (my dad) and Alvin Balajadia had been great friends and golfing buddies for decades. Both of them love telling jokes too. When Tony suddenly falls deathly ill, Alvin comes to visit him on his deathbed, and they started reminiscing about their long friendship. Then Alvin asks, "Listen, Tony, when you die, do me a favor. I want to know if there's golf in Heaven."

Tony says, "We've been great friends for years, this I'll do for you." And then Tony passes away.

A couple days later, his surviving friend, Alvin, is sleeping when he hears Tony's voice. The voice says, "I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there's golf in Heaven."

"What's the bad news?" Alvin asks. Tony replies, "Your tee off time is on Wednesday. See you soon!"

Tito Alvin, this joke is for you. I am sure Daddy likes this joke too.

To family and friends of Tito Alvin Balajadia, I would like to inform you that he passed away a few days ago. Like my dad, he died of cancer too. I guess right now Tito Alvin and my Dad are playing golf in Heaven. This puts a big smile of my face. May you rest in peace, Tito Alvin.

As you know, Tiger Woods did it again. He won the recent World Golf Championships-Cadillac Tournament held at TPC Blue Monster at Doral in Miami, Florida. Congratulations Tiger!

FYI, it is the 76th win for Tiger and we are celebrating the 76th anniversary of Araw ng Dabaw. What a coincidence.

FYI too, Sam Snead holds the record for the most number of wins on the PGA Tour with 82 wins. Tiger, 6 more to go to tie the record, and 7 more wins to beat it.

World Golf Championships results: In 1st place is Tiger Woods. He won by two strokes. In 2nd place is Steve Stricker. Tied for 3rd place are Sergio Garcia, Graeme McDowell, Phil Michelson, and Adam Scott. In 7th place is Keegan Bradley. Tied for 8th place are Peter Hanson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, and Michael Thompson.

By the way, it is rumored that Donald Trump is planning to buy Doral Golf Resort and Spa for $150 Millon Dollars. Doral is a 692-room hotel with 4 golf courses.

If the sale pushes through, according to the net, the Greg Norman-designed Great White course will not be part of the deal. And, according to the net, Trump is expected to spend another $150 million to renovate it.
