8th Davao Baseball Cup at DSA Forum at Calle 5

THE 8th Davao Baseball Cup is the main topic when the weekly Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum resumes at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, at Calle Cinco Restobar along J.P. Laurel Avenue.
Datu Uchida Development Foundation Inc. (DUDFI) sports director Yusuke Uchida and officer-in-charge Ines P. Mallari lead the panel of guests in the edition hosted by Calle Cinco owner Jonathan Traya and 177 Advertising owner Amik Mending.
Japan-based Uchida and Mallari, president of Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku, will discuss this year's staging of the annual baseball event that features elementary and High School public school teams.
Expected to join them are Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. marketing supervisor Neb Bulaclac, Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (Patafa) regional director Belen Kempis-Taala and Arnis Philippines-Davao head Mario Palazuelo.
Bulaclac will brief DSA members on the Jr. NBA regional camp set early next month while Taala and Palazuelo will bare details of their respective Araw ng Dabaw events opening on Saturday.
A representative from the Metro Davao Table Tennis Association (Medatta) has also been invited to the forum of the 18-year-old sports writing organization.
DSA members and guests are encouraged to come early.
