Fairlanes rules SBC Kadayawan tourney-A A +A

THE Fairlanes Bowlers captured the SBC 28th Kadayawan sa Dabaw Bowling Tournament held at Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday night.
Fairlanes came from behind to overcome twice-to-beat D' Adventurers 2, 558-547, 638-568, in their step-the-ladder championship clash. The latter settled for the runner-up honors instead in the meet organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club under its president Emie Orteza.
Fairlanes was bannered by Mikel Omandac, Ita Corona, Jong-Jong Sales, Efren Benaning, May-May Eborda, and Adrian Tumarao.
The Thursday Group Bowlers rolled over Petronas, 586-558, to grab the third spot.
Boy Fuentes, meanwhile, clinched the masters title having swept the two games against Joel Pamaran, 117-100, 134-90, in the finals.
Pamaran also copped the highest individual double crown with 292.
Emenarda Dejiga of Mickey Rudyard Printers hit 92 pinfalls to go home with the highest pinning award while Vic Pusod of D' Adventurers 2 took the highest individual score by toppling 158 pinfalls. Pusod doubled his feat by bagging the highest individual average (126.14).
The D' Adventurers 2, meanwhile, annexed the highest team single (649) and highest team double (1,252) titles in the bowlfest that gave away cash prizes and trophies to the winners.
It was supported by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office headed by officer-in-charge William "Butch" Ramirez as part of the annual Kadayawan Sports Festival.
