DRANHS posts UBL 2nd win-A A +A

THE Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS) posted its second straight win in the resumption of the United Basketball League (UBL) Davao leg elimination at Woodridge Park and Country Club Gym in Maa recently.
DRANHS defeated University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), 49-38, in their super cadets division collision. Weisler Palmes led scoring with 11 points as teammates Esvin In lnliwan and Miko Caminse added 10 points each.
Shane Sim made 14 points for UIC that absorbed its debut loss in the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)-sanctioned cagefest.
In the junior 17-under, the St. Peter’s College of Toril (SPCT) and Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) subdued their respective rivals to improve their standings.
SPCT rallied past Davao Jones Academy, 68-64, behind the heroics of Mark Jay Corpuz who poured in 29 points. Jumar Wenceslao sank 26 for DJA. Both teams toted 1-1 card apiece in bracket B.
HCDC dribblers, for their part, hacked out a 65-61 victory over Precious International School of Davao (PISD). Adonis Canon canned 17 to lead scoring for the HCDC that stretched their win-streak to two in bracket C.
The UBL Davao Leg Elimination 2013, dubbed as "One Goal, One Vision, One League", is supported by the Topcoms Marketing (Official Ball), Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc, Sun Cellular Network and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Philippines.
Davao leg winners will play against General Santos City, Cagayan de Oro and Valencia City (Bukidnon) leg champions.
