UIC dribblers bounce back with 72-32 win over New Ilang-A A +A

THE University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) recovered from a first game loss by whipping New Ilang Achievers Academy (NIAA) in the recent resumption of the United Basketball League (UBL) Davao leg elimination at Margarita Gym in Bajada.
Kyle Quidayan and Elijah Sagpang drilled in identical 10 points each for UIC to improve its standing to 1-1 in super cadet division of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)-sanctioned cagefest.
The Assumption College of Davao Team A (ACD-A) grabbed its second win via a 58-29 demolition of St. Peter's College of Toril (SPCT) in the same category. Miguel de Loyola of ACD-A led scoring with 10 points. SPCT absorbed its second straight loss in the league.
ACD-B, however, suffered its first defeat at the hands of Thompson Christian School that relied on Elmer Bustamante who made 15 markers.
In junior 17, TCA routed ACD, 67-37, to enter the winning column while Brokenshire Science High School defeated Lifestream International College, 40-35.
Games will resume this weekend in the tournament organized by Acef Basketball Sports, Inc.
