Lawyer Danilo "Danny" Balucos said in an interview that the meet was intended to address the request of five years old and above players to have their own tournament.
Benjamin Vellarde, 53, of Team Haribon said that joining the said tournament allowed shuttlers of their age compete with other players who have the same level of skills and stamina.
