THE 2nd R.A.C.E to Serve Fun Run, in celebration of the 113th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission, will hit the road on Sept. 15 in an out-and-back course from SM City Davao.
Civil Service Commission (CSC) administrative officer Josephine Ignacio told members of the Davao Sportswriters Association during their weekly forum on Thursday at Dexter's Pizza Stadium in Matina said that at least 750 runners are expected to join the event.
It features three-kilometer and five-kilometer categories that offer cash prizes, medals and certificates to the winners.
Registration ends on Monday.
Registration fee is P350 inclusive of singlet and race bib. A minimal fee of P150 only has a race bib.
Ignacio also said, "Proceeds of the run will go to the Pondong Pamanang Lingkod Bayan Program that pays tribute CSC identified families of officials and employees who died in line of duty."
Regional directors of various government offices and officials will grace the running activity.
