UIC-A grabs 2nd round lead in Inter-HS bowling-A A +A

THE University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC)-A grabbed the second round of eliminations as the 2nd Monde Bingo Inter-High School Bowling Tournament resumed Saturday evening at the NCCC Mall B3 Lanes.
The UIC Pink Panther A, composed of Rayvince Parages, Jomari Saldaña, Mariella Cain and Michael Pepito, rolled a total of 2,061 pinfalls after four games while UIC-B dropped to second with 1,972.
The University of Mindanao (UM) Red Paladin 2 occupied the third spot after garnering 1,736 pinfalls followed by the Rizal Memorial Colleges (1,733) in fourth and Holy Child Brave Reds A (1,703) fifth.
The Emar Demi Gods (1,670), Macarians Angel (1,670), Good Soil Mustang(1,608), Green Meadows Green Hawk (1,567), and Brain Works B (1,549) rounded up the top 10.
Trailing behind were Davao Christian BT, Team Green Falcons of Green Meadows, Green Meadow Green Eagles, Brain Works C (1,482), and AMA Hasha Kariel.
The top eight will advance to the quarter-finals through a single elimination format on September 21.
Cash prizes, cellphones, medals, and trophies are at stake for the winning teams.
