UIC leads in Smart Inter-College Bowling-A A +A

THE University of Immaculate Concepcion (UIC) grabbed the lead in the Smart Inter-College Bowling Tournament that opened last Saturday in the NCCC Mall Davao B3 Center lanes.
UIC scored 1,232 pinfalls after the first two games, followed by the Ateneo Blue Knights 3 who managed 1,070 pinfalls.
In third is the Ateneo Blue Knights 2 who hit 1,049 pins, followed by Ateneo Blue Knights 1 who recorded 1,043 pinfalls.
The fifth up to tenth ranked teams are Ateneo Blue Knights 4 (1,043), UM Pin Breakers (1,008), Brokenshire (995), DDC 5 (962), DDC 2 (925) and PWC Patriots (855).
Marketing Assistant and Tournament manager Fredy John Ochia said that the teams will meet in a “five-game series” wherein the first two days, on October 5 and 12, will have two games played.
The top eight teams will proceed to the quarter-finals all the way to the championship game which will be held on October 19.
The team that wins the championship game will take home P12,000 and four cellphones while the runner-up will receive P8,000 and the third placer receiving P4,000 and a medal.
