The UM Pin Breakers' win set them up for a semifinal match against another Ateneo team, the Ateneo Blue Knights 2. The UM Pin Breakers stayed on form and scored 563 pinfalls compared to Ateneo Blue Knights 2's 486.
Ateneo's championship hopes were wrecked when UIC narrowly defeated the Ateneo Blue Knights 4 in their semifinal match, winning 540-518 and heading into the finals against UM.
The UIC Heartthrobs topped their fine run in the tournament, beating the UM Pin Breakers 556-525.
The tournament was held over three Saturdays, with the first two Saturdays being elimination games. 42 teams from various colleges in Davao joined the tournament.
