SEASONED pintoppler Joshua Disuacido bagged the Datba weekly qualifying tournament held Tuesday evening at the NCCC Mall B3 lanes.
Disuacido struck for a total of 871 pinfalls after four games to rule the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba). With a handicap of 11, Disuacido rolled 199, 193, 202 and 233 pins in four games.
Sammy Talaboc, with 12 handicap, hit 853 pinfalls. He scored 232 in his third game but garnered 191, 190 and 192 in the first, second and fourth games.
Female player Cyrstal Chavez, who had a 19 handicap, finished third with 839. She hit 181, 193, 179 and 210.
Disuacido got P1,000, while Talaboc and Chavez made P600 and P400, respectively.
Talaboc also received a meal bagger coupon for hitting five consecutive strikes in the tournament that serves as qualifying for the monthly finals that offers bigger cash prizes and customized trophies. (MLSA)
