AdDU Blue tops table in DFA girls tourney opening

THE Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Blue team bagged two wins to top the team standings at the start of the Davao Football Association (DFA) U13 Girls Cumulative Festival held Saturday at AdDu Football Field, Matina.

Ateneo Blue captured to wins at the expense of Ateneo White, 2-0 and AJJ Footbelles, 6-0.

Sakya Football Club was second on the team standings with two wins and one draw. Sakya FC defeated AJJ Footbelles, 3-0, Ateneo White, 2-0 and a draw over Ateneo Blue.

AJJ Footbelles accounted for one win over Ateneo White and had two losses which made them third in the team rank, while Ateneo White sat in the fourth spot having been defeated thrice.

DFA U13 ceremonial kick off was attended by AdDu athletic director, Emmanuel Ayo and AdDu high school girls coach Julio Orcasitas Jr. Michael Jay “Jet2x” Fernandez served as the match commissioner.

Tournament commissioner Rachelle "Ching" delos Reyes said that points will be accumulated to find out the final ranking.

The second round of elimination will be held on February 25, 2014.

The event organized by DFA Women's Department was in cooperation with Davao Football Association and the Ateneo de Davao University.
