Asean bowlers take lead

THE Team Asean grabbed the lead as the Sunday Bowlers Club (SBC) 77th Araw ng Dabaw Open Bowling Tournament resumed Tuesday night at Fairlanes Bowling Center.

Asean hit a total of 2,349 pinfalls after four games in the seven-game elimination series that attracted 22 teams.

Dover rolled 2,327 pinfalls to place second while Sassy Boys (2,290) and Diagold (2,287) occupied the third and fourth places, respectively.

Jonzlibz (2,270), Gani 1 (2,256), Homer (2,252), K of C St. Jude Council 5831 (2,239), Super Strikers (2,237) and D’ Adventurers 1 (2,216) wounded up in the top 10 of the event organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.

Two games will be played in the resumption tonight at the same venue.

A total cash prize of P 35,000 and trophies are at stake in the bowlfest organized as part of the Araw sportsfest presented by the city government of Davao through the Sporst Development Division of the City Mayor's Office.
