Flux Bam, Reds top Tchoukball challenge

THE Flux Bam and Reds teams led their respective categories as the 2014 Tchoukball Association of Davao (TAD) Challenge Cup resumed over the weekend at SM Lanang Premier, Parking C.

Flux Bam beat team Legendary, 35-22, to take the top spot of the men’s open division of the event organized by the Maharlika Sports Development Institute Inc. (MSDII).

Flux Bam posted three straight wins at the expense of teams Samaritans (27-24) and Tee-J (44-33) to garner a total of nine points.

Team Tee-J placed second after routing Settimo Forza, 40-32, to improve its record to two wins and one loss while 1-0 Samaritans and 1-2 Settimo Forza wounded up in the next two places.

Having lost all its games, Legendary slumped at the cellar of the team standings.

In the distaff side, Reds paced with two wins and one loss despite bowing to the Blues, 17-19. The 1-2 Blues was second and the Greens came third.

Games will resume on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

The event is being held in partnership with Sun.Star Davao and SM Lanang Premier.
