Hooligans pace Challenge Cup-A A +A

THE Hooligans FC kept its unbeaten slate after nipping Columbia FC, 2-1, in the resumption of the Philippine Sports Commission-Davao Football Association (PSC-DFA) Challenge Cup 2014 that resumed Sunday afternoon at Tionko field.
The Clemens Lademora coached-Hooligans FC leaned on the goals of Jayric Iligan and Mark Dayanan in the 49th and 80th minutes, respectively, while Warren Ravanes made one goal for Columbia in the 40th.
Hooligans paced the bootfest with two wins and zero loss while Clumbia dropped to one win and one loss record along with PCT Medvil that bested Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KMMPC), 3-1, courtesy of Jomar Acedo's two goals (21st, 72nd) and playing coach Ramonito "Lalas" Carreon's one goal in the 20th.
Carreon said, "Hinay-hinay naga-improve na ang team. Next game namo, andam na among plano. Amo ni trabahuon sa training session para ma-apply sa dula. (Our team is improving. We are prepared for our next game. We will work it out on our training sessions.)"
KMMPC, which had two defeats, stayed at the bottom of the team standings.
Games will resume on Thursday between Columbia FC and KMMPC at 2 p.m., and PCT-Medvil against Hooligans FC at 4 p.m.
