Hinex, Khanj beat rivals in She Futsal

THE DDS Hinex and DDS Khanj beat their respective rivals as the Sun.Star Davao-sponsored She Futsal League resumed, Friday at the SM Lanang Premier Parking Lot C.

DDS Hinex at last ended its three-game skid by whipping Strippling Warriors, 11-4. Aiza Gravador netted the first goal for the Warriors in the third minute before Hinex players Nina Lorenzo, Maria Concordo, Bianca Magpantay and Ally Ravanes blasted consecutive goals.

Concordo made five goals and Magpantay added three goals. Ravanes had two and Lorenzo with one.

Gravador, on the other hand, scored all four goals for the Strippling Warriors team.

DDS Hinex registered its second win in seven outings while Strippling Warriors, for its part, suffered its fifth loss.

DDS Khanj, meanwhile, demolished SOS Children's Village Girls, 11-4, to claim its sixth win behind the efforts of Michelle Alfeche, Analou Ingles and Vanessa Leonar. Leonar led the charge by knocking in five goals while Ingles and Alfeche added four goals and a hat trick, respectively.

SOS Girls' Diana Cosare, for her part, accounted for the four goals of SOS girls as the team absorbed its sixth loss in eight games.

The tournament is organized by the Maharlika Sports Development Institute, Inc.

Michelle Danton, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said it was difficult for them to win especially against experienced DDS Khanj.

"Gahi kaayo sila ug mga dagko ang kalaban (They are very tough and strong team)," Danton added.
