The Carlo Fortich Freight team of Malaybalay Bukidnon (9:57:36) finished fifth.

The second, third, fourth and fifth placers received P4,000, P3,000,
P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.

In the 23-under category, Lopez bagged the title to take home the P1,500 prize and medal at the expense of Enarciso and James Paulo Ferfas of Bike for Life who took the next two places. Enarciso got P1,000 while Ferfas had P500.

Lopez, meanwhile, was also hailed as the King of the Mountain and received a special cash prize and gift certificate worth of P4,000 from Ideal Vision.

Oledan also captured the elite category title to take home P3,000 cash prize and medal, beating last year's Ronda Pilipinas champion Reimon Lapza and Ferfas. Lapza settled for P2,000 while Ferfas took home P1,000.

Eric Dhave Apinar of Team Duterte-Livestrong Builders and Nicko Tapao, however, succumbed to njuries in the middle of the race when a dog crossed their path at the vicinity of the landfill area in Brgy. Carmen. Apinar and Tapao were rescued by 911 and both of them were rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) for medical treatment.

Philcycling deputy secretary-general for Mindanao Salcvador "Jun" Paholio, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said it was a disappointing incident.

"Apinar and Tapao are in good condition. They only have scratches and marks in their faces but they're okay," Paholio said.

Paholio, on the other hand, is very happy with the outcome of his Kadayawan events.

The KadayaJuan Roadbike Challenge was sponsored by the city government of Davao, Christopher "Bong" Go, Congressmen Sid Ungab, Kabalikat Civicom Mindanao, Barangay Maa Rescue Group, Barangay Maa Captain Olivia Cal Emperador Light, Jaltan Food Centrum, Davao Livestrong Builders Corporation, AG Global, and Racing Edge.

The event was santioned by PhiCycling Mindanao.
