The tchoulkball fest features men's, women's and U-17 categories.
She added, "The format and grouping for the tournament will be mixed. It will be a point-system, double round-robin format for the U-17 and women's while a single round-robin, point system format will be applied for the men's division. Teams will be composed of eight to nine players.

Cash prizes awaits the winners in each category. Champion teams will pocket P3,000 each while runners-up will each receive P2,500 and third-placers will get P1,500 apiece.

She also said TAD aims to give importance and chance for grassroots players to experience the sport of tchoulkball.

"Hopefully through this tournament, we will develop linkages and partnership for future endeavors and plans of TAD and at the same time to give priority to grassroots development," Matabalan added.

Matabalan, thus, urged Dabawenyos to support the event backed up by the city government of Davao through SDD-CMO, In Christ Community Family Fellowship (ICCFF), Lavilla-Mendiola Estates, Maharlika Sports Development Institute, Inc., SM Lanang and TAD.
