FIRST, her wish to be the Most Valuable Player this year was granted. It was no easy way as sacrifices had to be made day in and day out of non-stop rigorous training.
Lycha Crisanto Ebon goes to her next assignment as skipper of the DCNHS girls volleyball team to the Batang Pinoy Games this month with more confidence after Doctor Ezranelson Alojado rewarded her with an expensive dental treatment.
Ebon was recommended to Dr. Sandra Kay Alojado by the game captain Lyle Darren Barrida Amora, who was the first recipient of the generous dental services.
A tedious, grinding process at the modern dental chair which normally costs at present standard rates of the dental society between eight to ten thousand pesos was applied by the younger Alojado. Amora’s previous 3-tooth, 3-month successful root canal program costs P12,000 but was also for free.
Ezranelson Alojado started from scratch as a UP dentistry scholar and was able to graduate three of her siblings who followed his footsteps and are now practicing the profession with the same passion. Sandra Kay can now afford to be the one-woman csr of the Alojado Dental Arts because she already had a self-made, successful dentist-dad to lean on. Another role that she can afford to give back to the public is her professorial duties at the emerging global-class Davao Medical School Foundation.
