JEROBIN Cabudlan and Julie Marquez ruled their respective categories in the Davao Ultramarathon Club 50K that came to a close Sunday, August 6, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center along Jose P. Laurel Avenue, Davao City.
Cabudlan of Panabo Runners Club finished the race from Tagum City to Davao City in four hours, 54 minutes and 46 seconds to clinch the men's title over Christopher Eyao (5:28.30) and doctor Ian Demafeliz (5:28.49) who grabbed the next two spots.
Marquez, for her part, checked in at 6:08.08 to secure the wonen's crown in the event organized as part of SPMC's centennial anniversary celebration.
Marquez raced past next two placers Edna Razonable (6:16.40) and Marissa Hernane (6:43.47).
The champions received trophies and GPS watches courtesy of Soleus while second and third placers claimed trophies and Amihan Gear.
The event was co-presented by SPMC, TimeStudio, Solues, City of Tagum, BBG Run Events, Team Titans Davao and Amihan "Desinged to Go Farther."
