THE Bagobo Klata Tribe defended the overall championship of the recently-concluded Dula Kadayawan of the 32nd Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival held at the People’s Park in Davao City.

Bagobo Klata garnered a total of 148 points in the 12-event tribal games presented by the city government of Davao through Sports Development Division-City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO) and sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission.

The back-to-back champions topped anew the tug-of-war in the games that also featured bubuntog, solopot, totaring, sisibow, kakasing, osoroy, sosakoro, karang and binabayu.

Obu Manuvu, meanwhile, placed second after earning 127 points followed by Matigsalug (113) in third, Ata (98) fourth and Tagabawa (58) fifth.

The event jumpstarted with the parading of teams followed by a ritual.
