CRYSTAL Chavez of the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) stamped her rivals to clinch the mixed open title of the just-concluded 12th ITBA Imus Open Bowling Championship held at the Paeng's Freedom Bowl in Imus, Cavite.

Chavez amassed a total of 2,236 pins after 10 games in the event organized by the Imus Tenpin Bowlers Association.

The Dabawenya outclassed Ric Crisologo of Cavite South Bowling Association (2,193), Norel Nuevo of PBA-Nobleland (2,165), Myrna Bautista of Itba (2,127) and Nelia Santos of PBA (2,121) who placed second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Chavez's teammate Ulene Pondoc landed seventh after rolling 2,096 pins.

Pondoc, however, grabbed the runner-up honors of the open division, placed third in class A division and clinched the top lady qualifier award.
