TWELVE teams confirmed to join the Davao Grassroots Champions League that will launch on Sunday, October 7, at the Alveo Land football field.

The event is officiated by Davao South Regional Football Association (DRFA).

Hyenas FC coach Rex Rodriguez bared this during the Davao Sportswriters Association Forum held at the NCCC Mall Davao Food Cove function hall Thursday, October 5.

He was accompanied by Black Rose coach Joel Vidal, Rovers FC manager Marco Suarez, Southshield coach AJ Adana and Obu Manuvu manager Maljun Lambac.

Rodriguez said the champion in the two-month league will have a chance to represent the city in national and international events through an endorsement from DRFA president Erwin Protacio.

Suarez, for his part, said the league is still open to all interested teams.

The registration fee is P3,000.

Games will be played Saturdays of October and November.
