Santos rules Lanemasters

SEASONED player Paquito Santos struck for a total of 761 pinfalls after four games capture the Datba Lanemasters Weekly Tournament title at the NCCC Mall B3 Lanes Tuesday night.
Santos received a cash prize of P800 for his feat and a slot to the monthly finals that offers bigger purses to the winners of the meet organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Retired government employee Paul Rabe was 20 points behind the champion having scored 741 pinfalls to settle for the runner-up prize of P600.
Datba president Ian Ancheta got P400 for placing third after hitting 735 pinfalls.
William Galacio and Joshua Disuacido finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Galacio amassed 733 while Disuacido accounted for 728.
Datba, meanwhile, is all set to conduct the Pre-Valentine "Midnight" Bowling Tournament on Sunday also at B3 where some 30 teams are expected to compete.
A team shall be composed of three players either two females and one male or one female and two males. (MLSA)
