VIC Te climbed his way to bag the Datba Bowler of the Month title at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes over the weekend.
Te, from fourth, beat No. 1 Nandie Subido in two straight games in their step-the-ladder finals.

Te first defeated Subido, 179-140, and followed it up with a rousing 190-142 win in the second game of the meet organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
He earlier disposed of No. 3 John Galendez, 209-186, before beating No. 2 Romy Tocop, 179-169.
Galendez was the top qualifier while Te and Gary Snyder shared the top scorer honors with identical 256 pinfalls.
Te received a cash prize of P5,000 while Subido settled for P3,000. Tocop went home with P1,000 while Galendez claimed P700. They also received trophies.
The Datba Lanemasters championship, meanwhile, will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. (MLSA)
