Discipline

"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid." - Psalms 12:1(NASB)

GOD has called us to go up higher into a place where His Name be glorified in the way we live, the way we talk, the way we handle money, the way we love, the way we transact with people, the way we study, the way we handle business, the way we worship, and the way we handle things around and about us. There must be order, first in our life, in our family, in our place of work, in our city and in our nation.

As a nation we are called for greater. Greater things require greater responsibility and great responsibility requires discipline. In order for a country to be continually progressive the citizens must be well disciplined so that things built will be secured. Our leaders should build, secure and build, secure structures and infrastructures. Repairs and maintenance will then be less of a hassle.

In everything we must undergo a certain discipline that we may be perfect in every way living a righteous life. It is written “Train up a child in the way he should go,

"And when he is old he will not depart from it," Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV).

Every citizen must be responsible for such training to be implemented. Adults must train the younger generation by modeling a well disciplined life. A government system could never be righteous if there are no righteous people in it. Each citizen must be a good example as actions speaks louder than words.

Discipline is defined in Merriam Webster Dictionary as a training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character. It is a nature of God.

Discipline is perhaps the nature of God least liked by most. Everybody likes a loving, forgiving, understanding, patient, and generous God, but only a few – those who have real encounters with God – appreciate His rebuke and chastisement. According to some religious teachers, discipline is what separates a son from a stranger. Both can have access to the goodness of the Lord, benefit from His overflowing kindness, or enjoy His tender mercies. But only those whom God considers His sons receive admonition and discipline. God cannot apply His rod onto those with whom He does not have a relationship: what strangers suffer are consequences, what sons endure are corrections.

Hence, as sensible citizens of this incredible nation let us live in discipline in everything that God may trust us with greater things. Let take this time to thoroughly examine our life and make right things that are going wrong. Let us take this time to strengthen and fortify the practices that are right and beneficial. A well disciplined life can stop the decline and decay of society. In our restoration other will rise with us.
