Thursday, December 19, 2013
A DAWN bombing in Dumaguete City injured a 14-year-old boy who woke up early to attend the Misa de Gallo.
Police probers told Sun.Star that the still unnamed victim sustained abrasions on his left shoulder.
The glass windows and walls of the houses near the crime scene were also hit by shrapnel from the improvised bomb.
The residents said they saw a man running at the dike before the blast was heard. They believed the man was responsible for the bombing.
But investigators theorized that the man might be the target of the suspect, not the houses. They said the bomb might have hit the river shoulder, causing the blast.
The police are yet to determine the motive of the bombing. (VLC/Sunnex)
