ANTI-NARCOTICS agents arrested two more suspected drug pushers in Negros Oriental, as the government’s war against illegal drugs continues.
Police reported on June 23 the arrest of Frank Loyd Merced Duran, 21, a student and resident of Bio-os, Amlan town, during a drug bust around 6:50 p.m. Thursday.
Duran was nabbed after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an operative.
Also seized were two more sachets of shabu and a P500 marked money used in the operation.
An hour earlier, the joint team of Bais City police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives arrested Robin Catadman Martines, 46, at Villanueva Subdivision in Barangay Talungon, Bais City.
Recovered from Martines were three sachets of shabu, a mobile phone, and marked money.
Both suspects were tagged as street level targets who were included in the police's drug watchlist. (PNA)
