THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Negros Oriental has announced the start of the search for the 2018 outstanding government workers.
CSC Provincial Director Gina Crucio urged Negrrenses to nominate deserving government officials and employees to the annual search for next year’s outstanding public servants.
The agency's 2018 Honor Awards Program is its 59th year of honoring public servant heroes.
The regional office in Central Visayas has recognized eight regional winners for outstanding government workers and agencies from Negros Oriental.
Deadline of submission of nominations is on March 30, 2018.
There are three award categories, namely: Presidential Lingkod Bayan (PLB) Award, CSC Pagasa Award, and the Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or Dangal ng Bayan Award.
The PLB is conferred to an individual or group of individuals for exceptional or extraordinary contributions resulting from an idea or performance that had nationwide impact on public interest, security and patrimony.
The CSC Pagasa Award is conferred to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions resulting from an idea or performance that directly benefit more than one department of the government.
The Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or Dangal ng Bayan Award is conferred to an individual for performance of an extraordinary act or public service and consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior as provided under Republic Act 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
