PBA games tribute to late governor Macias

THE out of town games of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) scheduled in Dumaguete City on June 26, is paying tribute to a lifelong fan of PBA, the late governor Emilio Macias II.

Facilities Board of Management (NOSCFBM) told media that Congressman
George Arnaiz (second district) told her that few days before Governor Macias passed away, they had a talk about the PBA games.

Descuatan said the late governor tasked Arnaiz to deliver a message in behalf of him before the opening of the PBA games because he was still in the hospital for his medical treatment.
The governor passed away at the National Kidney Transplant in Quezon City on June 13.
Descuatan added that before the start of the games between San Miguel Beer and Alaska Aces, a prayer tribute to the late governor Macias will be offered.
The San Miguel Beer and Alaska Aces out of town showdown in the PBA Fiesta Conference to be held at the Sports and Cultural Center will start at 5 p.m.
The tickets, sold at P150, P200, 300, P400, P600, P700 and P1,000, are available at the Sports Complex and in front of the Cang's Department Store in Perdices Street, Dumaguete City. General admission is P100.
