THE Frisbee "Extreme" team of Dumaguete City walked away victorious after toppling 17 other frisbee teams from all over the country in Pool A of the 4th National Ultimo Abril Quatro Frisbee Tournament held April 15 to 17, 2011 at the Aboitiz Sports Field, Cebu City.
Extreme knocked off its opponents one by one as it won all its games from day one of the tournament until the championship round against Team KKK composed of mixed Frisbee players from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao.
The championship game ended with a 13-2 score in favor of Extreme.
The Dumaguete team's victory this year is a step up from its achievement in last year's games where they emerged first runner-up, with the opposing Team LVM winning by only one point.
Only 13 Extreme team players went to Cebu for the tournament this year due to budgetary constraints. But this did not prevent the team from bagging the championship and walking away with the following awards: Pool A Male Most Valuable Player for Jose Antonio "Tajji" Torres Pasigna and one of the Mythical Seven for Pool A Female to Bea Bianca Vargas Belcina.
