RMH backs 22nd Durian Tee

THE Royal Mandaya Hotel is throwing its support to the 22nd Durian Tee Invitational Golf Tournament, which fires off at the Apo Golf and Country Club from November 24 to 27.
Mandayah Hotel general manager Baden Zafra and 22nd Durian Tee co-chair Billy Parilla signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Wednesday afternoon, which makes the hotel minor sponsor of the four-day tournament.
Witnessing ceremony were Apo Golf and Country Club director Edwin Villarino and Jek-Jek Melendres, executive assistant of Royal Mandaya Hotel's executive vice president Glenn Escandor.
Parilla said more than 100 golfers have signed up for the event, which will be held at the scenic par-72 Apo course with Mt. Apo serving as the perfect backdrop.
The 22nd Durian Tee recently got a major boost when the Petroleum Philippines Inc. became co-presentor of the tournament
Hole-in-one prizes for the coming event include a whopping P1 million cash, a car, golf car and a motorcycle.
The 22nd Durian Tee Invitational will be a team event using the Stableford system of scoring. A member of the club must get a non-member player to complete a team and is allowed to play in as many as two teams.
Registration fee for members is P2,500 and for non-members P3,500. A golf bag will be this year's giveaways. (CRAM)
